#4 RE: "Chicago at Carnegie Hall" zum 50. als Super-Deluxe-Ausgabe
Tim Jessup:
Wow! Thank you so much everyone. The new album has some great material on it, some of Jimmy’s most intricate horn arrangements, and I do believe we will hear some new radio hits from this album. It’s been a long time. Wickedly great stuff. I just received the remainder of the CD test pressings of Carnegie Hall from Sonopress in Germany. They do a fabulous job. The band and I are relieved and delighted that Rhino Records chose to enlist Sonopress to manufacture Carnegie Hall. The CDs sound exactly like the masters, and we’ll have none of the unfortunate issues we encountered on the past few releases. Sonopress Rocks! Also, a shout out to Andrea Zanini and Acustica Audio out of Italy, for their essential role in this mega Carnegie Hall release. Their tools helped me to take the listener perspective from somewhere in the back of the hall, to right up on stage with the band. The presence, detail, and power of the new mixes are evident on the faces of the horn section in the photo. Jimmy Pankow’s first comment was “How did you get it to sound so Big?!!” Acustica Audio played a major role in the transformation. All eight shows sound very consistent with one another. The result of nearly a year of painstaking craftsmanship. We barely had time to notice the quarantine. For me, life didn’t really change, except for my own bout with COVID, which didn’t stop the process. Ivermectin Rocks! It completely eliminated my COVID symptoms in 48 hours and we went right on mixing. Lee sat right next to me through the entire process, unafraid of catching COVID himself, and totally dedicated to achieving the seemingly impossible results you will soon be hearing! 🙏✨🎼
Seltsam.

Also alles in allem ein recht teurer Spaß. Also: Sch…. Brexit…
